It also doesn't guarantee that he's free of some sort of MASSIVE insecurity that would surprise other people (even his close friends). Being a (very good) musician is another one of those stereotypes that in reality doesn't mean shit. Yep.  Being an athlete, being physically fit, being otherwise socially savvy, none of that guarantees that the guy knows what to do with a woman he’s attracted to (maintaining attraction, escalating, getting physical).

It also doesn’t guarantee that he’s free of some sort of MASSIVE insecurity that would surprise other people (even his close friends).

Being a (very good) musician is another one of those stereotypes that in reality doesn’t mean shit.

In college, I was on the rowing team - as jock-y as it gets, AND worked at the newspaper where I was interviewing tons of people for stories. Social and athletic creds - and I was still a wreck with women! Great post .... sounds like you've got a thriving practice w David and doing a lot of amazing work!  Man, that rings a bell!
